Say it isnt so!

Bill and I had eye appointments today and as I suspected we both left with new prescriptions. I have hit what my dad would call a "major milestone"...It is time for my first pair of bifocals! I sort of expected it because I was noticing and becoming very frustrated when trying to cut out tiny little pictures for my ATCs or read the small type on my iPod and also my regular vision isnt as clear as it used to be. *sigh* So in 2 weeks I should be able to see properly, I hope I can adjust to the no line bifocals!

If anyone was wondering about this art journal thing I am doing, here is an example of the kind of thing I create:

art Journal 1-6-11

So cool, I am doing Art Journal Every Day also with Julie. That in addition to my 4 classes. Love the bright colors and the circles.

I love your journal page! I found your blog through AJED, too.

Great page, I can totally relate. Just got my readers in the summer. I feel like a little old lady when I wear them but at least I can read the small type now and thread my sewing machine! (did your doc take the photo for you? LOL)

Well, I don't wear bifocals, but I finally had to give in and start wearing reading glasses. My hubby said it would come upon me overnight, and I swear it did! I agree with Valerie: I need them to read and thread the sewing machine, as well as bead!

Ugh! Oh of those things about being older and wiser, I guess!

I wouldn't worry about the bifocals. I ended up with them at 25..not even sure why, as Igenerally take my glasses off when I'm doing something up close so I can see better:P But I've been checked my two different eye specialists, and the outcome was the same.

Great journal page by the way! I'm going to start following this blog and your art journal journey
